Some general guidelines
FORMAT
Films may be submitted in any aspect ratio — vertical recommended for One-Minute category only. H.264 or .mp4 recommended.
lANGUAGE
Films in any language are welcome. English subtitles required for all non-English dialogue.
ORGINALITY
Films must be the original work of the submitter. Rights and clearances are the filmmaker's responsibility.
Release window
Films completed on or after January 1st 2024 are eligible.

Selections are made at the sole discretion of the GFF USA jury. Decisions are final.

Are you stuck in any process of submission of film?
How do i submit the film?
Your film can be submitted through our filmfreeway page, click submit button to apply.
When we will see the results?
Results will be out only during the grand finale ( Feb 19th - Feb 20th 2027)
What if our film is not approved
Please check all the guidelines before submitting the film, once the payment is done and submitted your film, there is no refund.
How will i get notified about updates
Once your movie is submitted, there will be periodic updates via our social media pages or via email as needed.
Can i come for the final screening?
Yes, ofcourse you are encouraged to attend both our virtual and in person screening as well as the grand finale in February 2027.
Can i submit more than 1 entry
Yes. unlimited entries are allowed, but each entry is subject to individual entry fees, rules and deadlines.
